Have you ever put your heart on the line?

To acquire treasure that is fine.

Have you ever exposed your very being?

Knowing some may scorn of what they’re seeing.

Have you ever felt the pain inside?

Tearing you apart like a roaring tide.

Have you ever found one to give your love?

Hoping it will return on the wings of a dove.

I have found treasure, scorn, and pain.

May this woman, my love sustain.
